Sunrise on the Reaping

First book review and I am starting off with a bang! This post is about Suzanne Collins’ newest book Sunrise on the Reaping.  I have been a long-time fan of The Hunger Games series. They were the books that could pull my middle school self out of a reading slump at any point in time and I am excited to say that her newest two books have made that fact stay true even though I am older. I only very recently read both of her newest books by using the libby app and my local library! While this did test my patience greatly, it was very much worth the wait. Welcome!

Welcome! This is a hand-typed blog made by a real person (without the use of AI entirely) and is purely just for fun to share my reading journey and my thoughts about books that I have previously read, am currently reading, or have just finished. I also like to share book hauls, books that I have given to friends, and promote using your local library!  Some genres that I enjoy reading are romance, drama, thrillers (e.g The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides), science fiction (e.g Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir), self-help books (e.g The Let Them Theory by Mel and Sawyer Robbins), bildungsroman (e.g Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver), and the occasional fantasy.  *Some posts may contain spoilers, will mark if they do *
